Terms and Conditions
Terms & Conditions
1) About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of forumforimpact.com (the “Site”) and any related registrations, applications, event ticketing, and services offered through the Site (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2) Who we are
The Site is operated by Forum for Impact (“FFI”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
Contact: info@forumforimpact.com
3) Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Site or register for events.
4) Invite-only participation + vetting
FFI events and dialogues are curated and may be invitation-only or application-based. Submissions may be reviewed for alignment and fit, and FFI may approve or decline participation at its discretion.
5) Registration, applications, and accuracy
When you submit an application or registration (including “Request to Attend” forms and other enquiries), you agree that:
-
the information you provide is accurate and current, and
-
you will not misrepresent your identity, affiliations, or professional background.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity under your account.
6) Event tickets, fees, and purchases
Certain registrations may include fees or ticketed products, including optional add-ons.
Unless stated otherwise at checkout or on the event page:
-
Prices may be shown in a selected currency and may exclude taxes/fees (where applicable).
-
Payment is processed through third-party payment providers (FFI does not store full payment card numbers).
-
Your spot is confirmed only once you receive confirmation (and/or written confirmation from FFI where vetting applies).
7) Travel, accommodation, and incidentals
Unless explicitly stated in writing, travel, accommodations, meals, incidentals, visas, and insurance are your responsibility.
8) Changes, postponement, and cancellation
FFI may update agendas, speakers, venues, schedules, and programming when necessary (including for safety, operational, or partnership reasons). If an event is postponed or materially changed, we will provide reasonable notice where practical.
Force majeure: FFI is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (including, without limitation, weather events, travel disruption, health/safety restrictions, government actions, labor disputes, venue issues, or supplier failures).
9) Refunds, transfers, and substitutions
Because formats vary (invite-only, vetted, limited-capacity), refund and transfer rules may differ by event and may be stated on the relevant event page or at checkout.
Unless otherwise stated:
-
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@forumforimpact.com.
-
Ticket transfers/substitutions may be allowed only with FFI’s written approval.
-
If participation is declined after review, FFI will clarify whether any payment is refunded or credited, depending on the registration type and stage.
10) Code of conduct + confidentiality
FFI gatherings are designed to enable candid, high-trust dialogue. You agree to:
-
behave professionally and respectfully,
-
comply with venue rules and safety instructions,
-
avoid harassment, discrimination, or disruptive conduct, and
-
respect confidentiality and discretion (including not sharing private discussions or participant information without permission).
FFI may refuse entry or remove participants for behavior that undermines safety, trust, or the integrity of the community, without obligation to refund.
11) Photography, recording, and media
FFI may photograph or record parts of events and related programming for documentation and communications. Where feasible, we will provide notice. If you wish to opt out of identifiable use where practicable, contact info@forumforimpact.com in advance.
12) Intellectual property
All Site content (text, design, graphics, logos, videos, and other materials) is owned by or licensed to FFI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, publish, or exploit Site content without written permission.
13) Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party sites/resources. FFI is not responsible for third-party content, policies, security, or practices. Use third-party sites at your own risk.
14) No investment advice / no offer
FFI content and events are provided for informational and convening purposes. Nothing on the Site or in FFI programming constitutes investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice, and nothing constitutes an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy securities or financial products.
You are responsible for your own decisions, diligence, and professional consultations.
15) Disclaimers
The Site and Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.
16) Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FFI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site, Services, or participation in events.
If liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum permitted by applicable law.
17) Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FFI (and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and partners) from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
-
your misuse of the Site or Services,
-
your violation of these Terms, or
-
your unlawful conduct.
18) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when changes were made. Continued use of the Site after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
